Lucca's ancient history

When in Lucca don't forget to visit the old fortress.
It's so impressive: this ancient fortress is a little village on it's own: there's an amphitheatre, church, musea, ... All things that remind us of our past.

For those who love history: Did you know that Julius Caesar invited Crassus and Pompey for a conference in 56 B.C. It was to rethink their joint political strategy and the first triumvirate ever.

Interesting isn't it?
